How do I register for my free trial class?
Very easy, on the top right hand side of the web you will see a button called “Register”. Click on it, fill in the information requested on the form and you will access the platform. Once inside you will have a credit equivalent to a free 25-minute class. To enjoy it, choose the day and time that suits you best, choose the teacher and confirm the reservation. Don’t forget to confirm your email address, as we will send you all the details of your reservation there.
What is an online English class like?
The classes are totally focused on improving the students’ level of English through conversation. Although all areas of English are studied (reading, listening, writing, vocabulary, grammar, etc.) the teacher converses with the student and explains grammar, vocabulary, etc., in English. In addition, exercises are done together where the student has to defend why he/she believes the answers he/she has given are correct. In this way, it is achieved, on the one hand, that the student learns the lesson corresponding to the class and in turn to improve their skills to communicate and express their thoughts. Another function of the teacher is to help the student to pronounce correctly all the words with which the student may have some kind of confusion.
What are the most important characteristics of the classes?
The most important characteristics of the classes are: All classes are private. That is to say, 1 to 1, in them only you and your teacher will be there.
Classes are focused on your goals and level. You will be able to progress at your own pace and focus on the areas of English that are most difficult for you.
The classes are 100% remote, that is, you will be able to teach from wherever you want.
Great availability of schedules. You will be able to teach from Monday to Friday from 6:00 to 23:00 (Spanish time), and on weekends at reduced hours.
Classes are 25-29 minutes long. You also have the option to look for consecutive slots and reserve them, per teacher, so you will have longer classes.
How far in advance can I book classes?
You can book up to 30 days in advance and up to 10 minutes before the start of the event.
Can I cancel a class?
Yes, you can cancel a class up to 2 hours before the class starts and the credits will be refunded automatically. If you cancel with less than 2 hours, you will lose the credit.
Can I book several classes at once?
Yes! In Book by Teacher, choose the teacher you want, select the day, and if there are consecutive slots available, you can choose the ones you want to have longer classes.
Can I see my class history?
Of course! Just login to the website and go to the “Past Classes” tab. There you will find all the classes you have had at the academy and also a small evaluation (feedback) of each of the classes you had.
Can I see the classes I have reserved?
Yes, from your student dashboard you have access to a tab called “My Bookings”. You will also see that you receive the booking emails and they are added to your Google Calendar.
How do I connect to my class?
To connect to your class, you will have to log in to the website and go to the “Classroom” tab. A couple of minutes before the class starts, a button will be enabled to access the virtual room where you will meet your teacher.
How do I buy classes?
You can do this in two ways: Packages or Subscriptions. If you buy a package, you will be able to spend the credits during the next 6 months before they expire. If you choose a Subscription, the price will be much better and you will be able to spend the credits in the next 45 days. The Subscription is a recurring payment, which means that every 30 days we will automatically charge your account and your credit card will be charged accordingly.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Just log in to your student panel and go to “Buy Classes”. You will see the option to Cancel Plan (only if you have an active Subscription). Once you do so, you will not be charged again at the end of the period and you will be able to continue using your credits until the 45-day period expires.
Can I receive an invoice?
Of course! When you make your first purchase, we ask you for your fiscal data to make it automatically. These invoices are valid for legal purposes, so be sure to fill in your information correctly.
Are the classes private?
Yes, all classes are private, there are no group classes. This way we ensure the best progress and you will advance faster!
Can I prepare for an interview, an exam or help with my needs?
Yes, all classes are done with the student’s objectives and level as a reference. Whether you want to prepare for a job interview, a conference or any exam, talk to your teacher and tell them your needs. They will prepare tailor-made lessons to help you achieve your goal.
Do you teach Business English?
Of course! Most of our students are professionals who need English for their work, that’s why we specialize in Business English above all. You just need to discuss your needs with your teacher.
I am too embarrassed to speak English! Is it a problem?
Not at all! Speaking a foreign language can be embarrassing at first, but you will find that with practice, you will gain confidence even if your English is not perfect. Most of our students feel insecure about their level, but that doesn’t stop them until they realize that they have the ability to express themselves much better than they imagined!
Is it a problem if my level is very low?
Our classes are entirely in English, so you must understand and be able to express yourself minimally to ensure that you can take advantage of them. If you are a beginner, this methodology will not be the most appropriate for you.
